Developer Community

We are committed to provide Silentale's magic to more people more often. That's why we are offering a public API (Application Programming Interface) for any developer, partner and company to use. The only requirement is that you need to have a Silentale account!

Silentale sits on a large Cloud Computing infrastructure, so it becomes the best place on the Internet to store and archive any type of conversations, one message at a time.

Although we already offer connectors with IMAP, major free email providers, and social networks along with some desktop softwares and mobile devices, we know there are a lot of possibilities out there. Use and make use of Silentale's unique archiving platform to store any type of messages, texts, voicemails, calls, records, notes or comments directly and uniformly. And benefit from everything else Silentale has to offer.

As you may have discovered while using your account, Silentale has a unique place to store all of a user's contact details, it's called the People Book. While these contacts are found in your address books, in your friend lists and in your conversations, Silentale "magically" detects that two or more contact details are in fact the same person. The People Book gives you a unique view of the people you know. And once again, using the API, you can program and extend Silentale to bring this information wherever you want. Extending Silentale as much as you please.

Last but not least, the search query you see on Silentale.com is also accessible using the API. Which means you can create the next Adobe Air application, or integrate Silentale historical messages with a contact directly into other applications.

Obviously, the team is doing its best to stay as open as possible. Therefore, your application will have to register with Silentale using OAuth and communicate with us using JSON or XML.
